Chucky Cheese and Pony Rides Does Not Constitute an Emergency*

Current mood: milky

While I am preparing for another boozy pub night I will post my most amazing discoveries this week:
1. the phrase "I've come to fix the fridge" is not always followed by thwaker-thwaking guitars and boobies, especially at work (actually it was me that said it, to myself, clutching a fuse).
2. Pirates are teeth-scrapingly cool, specifically Johnny, yay johnny! "'ello beastie!"
3. It's still hot. Actually, I already knew this, BUT THAT DIDN'T STOP A MILLION PEOPLE PRESENTING ME WITH THIS STARTLING INFORMATION OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
4. Taramasalata is almost as interesting as CHEESE.

High-muck-a-mucking & Big Wheelies

Current mood: Unusually circumspect

As i sit down to write this, a thought just struck me. It seems a little self important & pointless to post a regular blog about yourself ("yes it does Mr. Jon, but we love you anyway"), when my most important contributuion to the world has been the insides of my bladder and bowels (contributed to the toilet and British sewerage system, at least, not the whole world, but toilets do exist within this world, ahh).
Especially when there are more interestingly funny bloggers out there:
http://emmakennedy.net/blog
http://richardherring.com/warmingup
Or bloggers in grave situations, that could do with being heard about:
http://www.lebanonlive.blogspot.com/
http://toronto.dose.ca/Blogs/Live%20from%20Beirut
Or bloggers with jobs of exasperating substance:
http://randomreality.blogware.com/
http://www.neenaw.co.uk/
But, of course, now I realise, I am great and skill and ace and ample (the thesaurus said so), so no wonder you all hang on my every word. I will not let you down, every tiny twittering detail of my sad, drunken life shall be yours in time, my children.

The Worm Turns, Spins & Lands in a Gymnastic Stylee!

Current mood: flustery

It's now so hot in the worm that I have woken from my hibernation, just in time to post the next installment in my year-and-a-halfly writings. Highlights of a busy week:
1. Chasing theiving trolls, trip-trapping round and round the library!
2. Learning the TRUE history of Mother Theresa and her Gonk Face courtesy of Radio2 & TWTTIN ("TWTTIN! I hear you cry).
3. Tasty fishy treats & the joy of ukulele at the Larmer Tree Festival.
4. The stench of hour-old socks, the itch of midgey bites and the feel of fresh sweat against my knee-pits, mmmm...
Roll on December 2007!
